NYS 4-H Hunger Project - It's Your World, Make a Difference

Hunger in America is often characterized by an uncertain food supply called "food insecurity." Food insecurity is the "inability to acquire or consume an adequate quality or sufficient quantity of food in socially acceptable ways, or the uncertainty that one will be able to do so." 10% of New Yorkers don't have access to sufficient food on a regular basis, many of them children and senior citizens.
